The best-selling album in the history of independent Slovenia is Longplay by Plavi Orkestar with 60,000 copies. Considering the Yugoslav period, the best-selling Slovenian album is Jožica, kje si bla by Marian Smodet, released in 1986 and sold 127,000 copies.
